The initiative will take place in Italy.

The initiative will be valid from 1 May 2017 to 30 April 2018.

To promote GNV Ferry services by rewarding client loyalty.
All passengers enrolled in the MyGNV loyalty card programme
GNV has organised the present initiative which offers participants rewards in the form of GNV discounts as per the table below. The rewards can be obtained through the purchase of GNV Ferry tickets (excluding minigroup tickets for between 10 and 14 persons, group tickets for more than 14 persons, and cruise tickets) to earn the points indicated in the table below.
In particular, in order to participate in the initiative, it is necessary to register, or be registered, for the MyGNV loyalty card. Registration is free of charge and can be carried out be each passenger.
Once registration is completed correctly, and the first log-in has been carried out, the participant will receive an email communicating their participation code which identifies them for the purposes of the programme, and permits them, during purchases, to transform the value of the purchase into credit points which, as they are accumulated, provide the opportunity to obtain the rewards available.
Via internet, participants may access a private web session on the website www.gnv.it, where they may consult the regulations for the initiative and the points earned from the purchasing of tickets modify their registered data, and cancel their registration in the reward initiative.
It is the responsibility of each individual participant to communicate, within a maximum of 30 days from the date of ticket purchase, any errors in the assigning of points, also in the case of erroneous provision of the personal code.
In order to accumulate points, it is necessary for the participant, at the moment of purchase, to request association of the GNV ticket with their participation code.
The value accumulated is recognised on the basis of the value paid and only if the service purchased has been used.
The value of the ticket is converted into points according to the following ratio:
1 point for every 10 euros of purchased ticket value.
Points can be accumulated with the participation code within 60 days from issuing of the ticket and rewards can be claimed only if one of the specified thresholds has been reached.
In order for tickets to be recognised as valid, they must be issued solely in the name of the participant and can include, for the purposes of recognition of points, up to a maximum of a further eight names and two vehicles.
The credit of points will be assigned to the single participation code. One single person cannot participate with more than one code.
In order to allow the carrying out of the initiative, GNV has set up a specific computer system which provides for the recording of ticket purchases carried out with the participation code and the updating of points in the case of requests for rewards.
In order to benefit from the programme, it is necessary for claimants to conserve and present, on request, the originals of the tickets purchased and used.
On reaching the specified point thresholds for the collection of rewards, the participant may request the reward in the form of a discount as per the table below.
On receiving the request, GNV will verify the validity of the tickets which generated the relative credit.
Rewards may be collected by claimants on reaching the points necessary for the reward in question and requested at any time before the deadline of six months from the termination of the initiative by and no later than 31 October 2018.
Rewards are issued in the form of discount vouchers which can be used to purchase GNV ferry tickets. Participants may use discount vouchers on reaching the point thresholds indicated below:

|650 points||Discount voucher worth €350.00|
Discounted tickets will be issued by GNV following verification of the availability of places. The ticket will be sent via email or fax.
Discounts will not be applied to any taxes on the ticket price.
Only one discount voucher may be used per ticket. Discount vouchers therefore cannot be accumulated and cannot be combined with other discounts issued with coupons.
The reward can also be used for the purchase of a ticket of a price:
- that is higher than the value of the discount voucher, with the simultaneous payment to GNV of the eventual difference in price;
- that is lower than the value of the discount voucher, under the condition that in said case the Participant will not have the right to any refund, nor may they use the residual value of the aforementioned discount for a further purchase;
- The discount voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
It is understood that the participant will not have any right to a refund in the case that the Discount Voucher is not used, or the Reward is not requested.
There is no extension or re-issuing of Discount Vouchers which are not used within the indicated deadlines.
Furthermore, the reward:
- cannot be divided and must be used in one single solution;
- cannot be refunded or transformed into cash;
- is strictly personal;
- cannot in any case be sold to third parties by the Participants. The promoter reserves the right to carry out any necessary controls;
- cannot be accumulated with other promotional initiatives launched by GNV, save for indications to the contrary by the latter.
For all aspects regarding the ticket and transportation, the regulations in force presented in GNV’s “General Terms and Conditions of Transportation” are binding.
Handling of personal data
Pursuant to article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, Grandi Navi Veloci S.p.A. with registered offices in Calata Marinai d’Italia - 90146 Palermo, and operational headquarters in Via Balleydier 7 - 16149 Genoa, as Data Controller, hereby informs the participants of the initiative “MyGNV” that their personal data will be handled for the sole purpose of allowing and managing their participation in the present initiative.
Data will be stored on printed or electronic support, for the duration of the operation, after which time they will be destroyed. The handling of personal data, for the aforementioned purposes, does not require the consent of the participants, pursuant to article 24, paragraph 1, section b) of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.
Data will not be passed on. Data may be viewed by the company Manager and the offices involved in the management of the initiative.
The external data processor pursuant to article 29 of Legislative decree 196/2003 is the company Grandi Navi Veloci S.p.A.
Participants may exercise their rights as specified in article 7 of Legislative decree 196/2003, including the right to access data, oppose the handling of said data or request their integration, rectification or cancellation by sending
GNV reserves the right to modify, also partially, at any time, the modality of operation and participation in the initiative, publishing said modifications on the website www.gnv.it and in the private web session reserved for each participant.
Exclusion from regulations regarding Reward initiatives
We hereby declare that pursuant to article 22-bis of Italian Legislative Decree n. 91/2014 added on occasion of the conversion of Italian Law n. 116/2014, modification was made to article 6, paragraph 1 of the Decree of the President of the Italian Republic n. 430/2001, widening the cases which are not considered competitions or reward schemes.
According to the new section c-bis, “initiatives in which, on the basis of a certain amount spent, with or without a minimum threshold, rewards are issued in the form of vouchers to be used for a successive purchase from the same point of sale that issued said vouchers or in another point of sale which forms part of the same brand or company” are excluded from the category of competitions and reward schemes.
