For cancellation of tickets purchased on the GNV website and through the Contact Center, contact us, to learn more visit the page Information and Booking.

To cancel tickets purchased through a travel agency or Olta, contact the issuing agency.

To cancel tickets purchased through the port ticket offices, contact the ticket office where they were purchased, or contact us, to learn more visit the page Information and Booking and then reimbursement can be picked up at the ticket office.

From 13/10/2025 to 28/10/2025, for bookings on all routes* and for travel until September 2026, cancellation is free of charge if made at least 21 days before departure.

After that, the following penalties apply:

  • 30% from 20 to 14 days before departure.
  • 40% from 13 to 7 days before departure.
  • 100% from 6 days to 2 hours before departure.
  • 100% less than 2 hours before departure.
  • 100% on the advance sale deposit not yet converted.

* Excluding Balearic and Albanian routes, for which cancellation is free up to 7 days before departure; after that, the following penalties apply:

  • 30% from 6 to 4 days before departure.
  • 50% from 3 days to 2 hours before departure.
  • 100% less than 2 hours before departure.
  • 100% on the advance sale deposit not yet converted.
  • For bookings made from 28/07/2025 to 12/10/2025 on all routes* and for travel until December 2025, the following cancellation penalties will apply:

    • 25% from the time of booking up to 20 days before departure 
    • 30% from 19 days up to 14 days before departure.
    • 40% from 13 days up to 7 days before departure.
    • 100% from 6 days up to 2 hours before departure
    • 100% less than 2 hours before departure
    • 100% on the pre-sale deposit not yet converted.

    *Balearics and Albania lines excluded: for them, for bookings from 28/07/2025, the cancellation is free if made within 7 days before departure, after the seventh day the following penalties apply:

    • 30% from 6 days to 4 days before departure
    • 50% from 3 days to 2 hours before departure
    • 100% less than 2 hours before the scheduled departure
    • 100% on the advance payment not yet converted.

    *And Almeria-Nador line excluded: for it, for bookings from 28/07/2025the cancellation is free if made within 2 hours before departure, after the following penalties applied are:

    • 100% less than 2 hours before the scheduled departure
    • 100% on the advance payment not yet converted. 

    For bookings made from 12/02/2025 to 27/07/2025 on all lines and for travel until December 2025, the following cancellation penalties will apply:

    • 25% from the time of booking up to 20 days before departure 
    • 30% from 19 days up to 4 days before departure.
    • 50% from 3 days up to 2 hours before departure
    • 100% less than 2 hours before departure
    • 100% on the pre-sale deposit not yet converted. 

    Partial ticket cancellation is not possible, therefore any cancellation refers to the entire travel pass.

    No changing fees are due for lines to and from Albania and Balearic. If you change your ticket, you will only pay the eventual fare difference of the new booking due to: changes in date, addition of meals, people etc.

    Round-trip tickets issued at a special fee can only be changed at the same time, with the fixed fee charged on both tickets.

    Any changes to the ticket issued does not grant the right to a reimbursement, whereas payment of the difference from the changed ticket is due if the change leads to a higher price and/or accommodation.

    All tickets may be changed before check-in is opened at the GNV Contact Center with payment via credit card or through the Travel Agency.

    Through My Booking, by entering the Ticket Booking Number and Email that was used during the purchase phase, you can change/cancel the tickets purchased through the website and the GNV Contact Center.

    At the port ticket offices, only tickets purchased through the Contact Center or Travel Agency may be changed.

    No changes are permitted when check-in is under way.

    Tickets purchased in pre-sale may only be changed after the entire amount has been paid.

    A change in vehicle model and/or plate does not require additional fees provided that the new vehicle falls in the same category as the one previously noted.

    In that case, just notify us of the new model and plate number and we will update the information at no cost.

    If the new vehicle is larger than the one booked, a difference will be applied based on the fee and availability at the time of change.

    Yes, you will get a new ticket via email, which replaces the previous one.

    The tickets are registered, however the name can be changed with payment of any fees.

    For round-trip tickets, specify if you intend to cancel both routes or just one.

    You can also cancel the ticket at MY BOOKING.

    The request must arrive at least two hours before the booked departure.
