Fill out the form on the page “Request Invoice” on the GNV website within 4 days of issue of the ticket.

Once this term has passed, no document can be issued.

If an invoiced ticket is cancelled, the system will automatically issue the related credit note.

In the event of a substitution, the invoice for the new ticket must be requested by filling out the form on the website again.

Pre-sale is valid on all lines and for all travel dates more than one month prior to the departure date.

The deposit amount required to reserve the ticket is 30*% of the ticket total (including taxes). The minimum deposit amount is €50.

Pre-sale expires 30 days before travel. At the expiration date, the pre-sale is automatically cancelled. Within this time, the remaining 80% balance must be paid by calling the Contact Center with a credit card, on the website www.gnv.it, or through a Travel Agency. Otherwise, the deposit will not be returned and you lose the right to availability and the fee that was locked in with the pre-sale. The pre-sale cannot be changed in any part until the time it is fully paid.

Once converted into a ticket, the replacement and cancellation rules in the General Conditions apply.

There are no additional costs for pre-sale.

The booking performed through pre-sale does not calculate any discounts (e.g., deductions, coupon codes not cumulable with pre-sale), which can only be used in the event of a direct purchase in a single solution, except for resident fees, Telepass Premium discounts, over sixty discounts for loyalty card holders, coupon codes that are cumulable with pre-sale, conventions, and promotions under way.

For presale tickets purchased until 06/11/2023 the amount to be advanced is still 10% of the total ticket price.

For presale tickets purchased until 30/07/2022 the amount to be advanced is still 10% of the total ticket price.

If you do not have the vehicle data, you can proceed with booking, writing “to be communicated” in the dedicated field. Once you have the model/plate, you can communicate it, before departure through the Contact Center at +39 010 2094591.

Updating the vehicle data is free of charge.

Email tickets, attached to the booking confirmation, are not valid for embarkment.

To board the ship, you must have the boarding pass, which will be issued by our staff during check-in at the GNV ticket office inside the departure port.

In Genoa, Naples, Porto Torres, and Barcelona, passengers with a vehicle only need to show the ticket received via email to the GNV staff upon embarkment without visiting the ticket office.

No, payment must be made upon booking.

It is possible to recover the ticket by calling the Contact Center, if you have the booking reference number.

The ferry ticket may be purchased up to the day of departure (if there are still seats available), up to two hours before departure, at the current fee.

There is no additional fee for online booking compared to purchasing through the Contact Center or port ticket offices.

Yes. In compliance with safety standards, passenger data and vehicle plates indicated on the tickets must correspond to the passengers and their vehicles at the time of departure.

Otherwise, the supervisory authorities may refuse access to the port entries and embarkment.

No. If you book online, payment must be made at the same time (credit card or Paypal).

The price indicated on the ticket is the carrier fee at the time of issue.

The fee is not fixed and is subject to increases or decreases.

Discounts and special reductions cannot be applied retroactively to already issued tickets.
