The MSC Group and GNV

Founded in 1992, Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV) is a major Italian shipping company that provides passenger and coastal navigation services in the mediterranean sea. With a fleet of 25 ships, GNV serves 31 key routes and 21 destinations across the mediterranean. The company maintains services to Sicily, Sardinia, Malta, Morocco, Albania, Tunisia, Spain and France.

GNV joined the MSC Group’s global portfolio in 2010 and is one of two companies in the group’s ferry division. The GNV fleet is dedicated to expanding motorways of the sea routes, offering a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to road transport by reducing heavy vehicle traffic on roadways. The effort aligns with the MSC Group’s commitment to responsible and sustainable operations across its businesses.
