Flexible fares
What is the difference between Superpromo, Standard and Flexy?
The three fares mainly differ in price and flexibility:
- Superpromo: this is the lowest-priced fare, but it is non-refundable and cannot be changed. Advance Bookings and Booking Options are not available.
- Standard: offers a 50% refund up to 14 days before departure and allows you to change your ticket, subject to a ticket change fee and any applicable price adjustment.
- Flexy: allows free cancellation up to 7 days before departure and ticket changes without a fee, subject to any applicable price adjustment.
Standard and Flexy fares offer even more flexible conditions (INSERT LINK) on the Almeria–Nador, Balearic Islands and Albania routes.
Which fare is best for me if I am unsure of my travel date?
If you expect to change or cancel your trip, the Flexy fare offers the greatest flexibility, with free cancellation up to 7 days before departure and the option to change your ticket without a fee, subject only to any applicable price adjustment.
If you are sure of your dates and are looking for the best price, you can choose Superpromo, bearing in mind that it is non-refundable and cannot be changed.
Can I purchase a Superpromo fare and later switch to a more flexible fare?
No. Superpromo cannot subsequently be converted to a Standard or Flexy fare. The fare selected at the time of purchase determines the conditions applicable to the ticket.
Are Advance Bookings and Booking Options available for all three fares?
No. Advance Bookings and Booking Options are available only for Standard and Flexy fares.
What does "price adjustment" mean?
When you change a booking, the price of the new ticket is recalculated using the fares in effect at that time. If the new ticket costs more, you will need to pay the price adjustment. Changing a ticket does not entitle you to a refund of any price difference if the new fare is lower than the fare originally purchased.
How are the days before departure calculated?
The 14-day (Standard) and 7-day (Flexy) deadlines are counted backwards from the departure date shown on the ticket.
For example:
- if departure is on 20 April, 14 days before departure is 6 April inclusive, so you can cancel up to and including 6 April;
- if departure is on 20 April, 7 days before departure is 13 April, so you can cancel up to and including 13 April.
Do the conditions of the fare I purchased remain valid if I change my trip?
Each change results in a new ticket: the conditions that apply thereafter depend on the newly issued fare, rather than the original fare.
Where can I check the conditions of the selected fare?
The fare conditions are displayed during the purchase process, before the booking is confirmed, and are set out in Article 2 (LINK WITH ANCHOR) of the General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers. We recommend always checking the conditions of your selected fare before completing your purchase.
Once you have completed your purchase, your fare will be shown on your ticket and in all related communications. You can always check the details in the General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers (LINK WITH ANCHOR).
Can I purchase different fares for the outbound and return journeys?
Yes. Fares can be selected according to the needs of each individual journey. For example, you can choose a Standard fare for the outbound journey and a Flexy fare for the return journey, if available.
Do refund and change conditions apply separately to the outbound and return journeys?
Yes. The conditions are determined by the fare associated with each journey. The outbound and return journeys may therefore have different refund and ticket change conditions.
What does a ticket "change" mean?
A ticket change means modifying the journey originally purchased, including, but not limited to, changes to the date, time, accommodation, vehicle details, number of passengers or passenger details, in accordance with the conditions of the selected fare. Each change automatically results in the replacement of the previous ticket.
What happens if the new journey costs more than the journey originally purchased?
If the new journey costs more, you will need to pay any price difference, in addition to the fee required by the purchased fare, if applicable.
The Standard fare is subject to a ticket change fee. No fee applies to Flexy.
What happens if the new journey costs less than the journey originally purchased?
Changing a ticket does not entitle you to a refund of any price difference if the new fare is lower than the fare originally purchased.
Does the ticket change fee for the Standard fare apply to every change and resulting ticket replacement?
Yes. For the Standard fare, ticket changes are subject to a fee of €60. Any price adjustment for the new journey is payable in addition to this fee.
Can I cancel a Superpromo ticket and receive a refund?
